Support Overview

Product Support

Support is available through several channels:

  • The Blog contains contributions of our team members. The blog is a place for general software development topics as well as product specific information.
  • In the Forum you can find help from other customers and DigitalRune team members. This is also a good place to exchange ideas regarding our products and possible new features.
  • The Online Documentation lets you view the product manuals and API references online. The same documentation is also included in the download packages.
  • For questions regarding licensing check out the License FAQ.
  • If you prefer to ask us directly, please contact us per e-mail or the Contact Form. – Please note, customers using a free non-commercial license or an indie license must use the Forum.

Please be aware that there is no guaranteed support for our source code. While we try to answer most questions regarding the source code, it is beyond the scope of our free support to explain the purpose of each portion of the code. It is also not possible for us to troubleshoot modified versions of our code.

Bug Reports

Sadly, no software is bug-free. If you encounter a problem, please let us know via e-mail (office@digitalrune.com) or Contact Form.

Service Releases and Updates

Service releases that fix reported problems and minor updates that introduce new features are available from the Downloads page. Licensed customers can download and use service releases and minor updates for free.

Major updates introduce significant new features or major product changes. Major updates are only free if a grace period was announced at the time you bought the product.

(A minor update is a new product version where the second number in the version number changes, for example v1.3 to v1.4. A major update is a new product version where the first number in the version number changes, for example v1.4 to v2.0.)
