Version 1.1 is the first public release of DigitalRune Geometry. It is a fully managed .NET library for geometry and 3D collision detection. The library provides a variety of geometric primitives and complex shapes (spheres, boxes, convex hulls, triangle meshes, height fields, composite shapes, ...). The collision detection system supports closest-points queries, have-contact queries and intersection queries. Other features are convex hull creation, computation of tight-fitting bounding shapes and more.
The library includes support for the Microsoft XNA Framework. It has been designed and optimized for use in 3D applications and games.
DigitalRune Geometry is available for download now. The documentation can also be viewed online. Licensing and pricing details will be announced in the next weeks.
